Last day in Italy

This trip has been amazing! Travel days were a challenge everytime we headed to a new city. Like taking the wrong bus in opposite direction of where we were going or trying to figure out what train or metro to take. It was all part of the experience.

The food was amazing from the best pizza I have every had, Cacio e pepe, crescents, gelato, spritzs, and the most tender steak, The food was good.

The sites in Italy were beautiful and the art work and sculptures were amazing alone with the old buildings. Most of the structures were built back in 1200 BC or before.

The vespa wine tour was one of the highlights of our trip!

Today we went back to Venice to the St. Marks Basilica and was able to walk through the basilica and like most of the churches the inside was amazing and beautiful.

Next we went to Murano where they make Murano glass. The history of Murano was that in 1291 BC glassmakers were moved to the island of Murano to protect the city from fires . The glassmakers could not leave the island or share how they make their glass.

The island of Venice is slowly sinking as you can see how close the door is to water.

I am sad that the trip is ending but am looking forward to our next adventure in a coupe of years!! I have the best time with Isaac
